We decided to take an impromptu trip to the zoo. Austin loves to spend time with his cousins. He gets a huge smile on his face when he sees them.
It was hot outside.
This guy was in charge of the seals. He kept barking at us.
For those of you that have not been to our zoo, there is a bridge over a lake where thousands of fish feed off of the food you throw over the side. This picture does not do it justice. It is a fascinating sight.
We found this peacock protecting her egg. We walked right by her.

I don't think I fully appreciated the henry doorly till I left and had kids of my own...now we frequent the zoo here, but it doesn't hold a candle to the henry doorly zoo! (so few do, i think) Anyway, enjoy it...even if it is hot!
