Vala's Pumpkin Patch

Austin and I were lucky enough to be able to go to the Pumpkin patch twice this year. The first trip was with Jana, Mark and their kids, and Papa.

Kaden, Kesa, Kaleb, Kassie, & Austin (one of these names is not like the others, one of these names just isn't the same)

Can you see Kaleb?

Kesa and Kassie got into trouble

The tractor ride! Austin enjoyed it quite a bit.

Wow!

Swinging on the tire swing.... this didn't last long.

Couple of flannel wearing guys

Austin was chosen as a pig leader, thanks to Jana's frantic waving

Good lookin' family, better lookin' if Kesa would smile

Any tips on how to get a toddler to pose for the camera?

Austin is quite the pumpkin sitter. He loved to climb in the piles of pumpkins

He was quite upset when pumpkin climbing time was over

Vala's part II

We went back to Vala's this time with just our little family, and daddy joined us!
He looks so small!

Austin loved the pumpkin patch

As you can see, it was a colder day, but it didn't stop him from running up to
the pumpkins and climbing up.

He blends in a bit
Great view from daddy's shoulders!

Annual Trip to Nebraska City

Every year we head to Nebraska City to pick out some pumpkins, and visit the local orchards for some cider donuts, and apple pie. It reminds us of New England and is a lot of fun. We learned quickly this year that Austin LOVES pumpkins. He runs up to them and sits on them and climbs around among them.

You have to be creative to break him away from the pumpkins.

Daddy joined in the fun. Austin found this apple and little pumpkin in one of the orchards. He held on to them all day.

Took a ride on a motorcycle.

Played on the playground at the orchard.

We buy our pumpkins from a crazy pumpkin lady who owns a farm. She gave us 4 pumpkins for $6! She has lots of farm cats. We found this little baby kitten sleeping in the corn stalks that were for sale. She was a sweet-heart. I almost took her home with us.

Austin was a bit hyper so we stopped at the local park to let off some steam. Found this cool tank.

Ran around.

Wrestled with daddy.

Jumped on mommy and daddy who were lounging around in the grass.

We had a great time! Until next year, so long Nebraska City!

The box

This was our entertainment during Conference last weekend. The box.

He liked to sit in it while we pushed him around the room.

Who needs toys?
