Black Hills - Finally!

Back in May we took a trip to the Black Hills in South Dakota with "Mama and Papa" (LeAnna's parents). Here is the evidence!

DAY I - The Drive

I have been putting this off for months because it seemed like such a big project. I am going to break it down into days on the trip.

We made a lot of stops on the way to allow Austin to run around a bit. This is the falls in Sioux Falls, SD. Really a beautiful little park. Reminds us of the potholes in Mass.

Forgive the scrubs.. we were traveling.

Austin got to wear his favorite Thomas Pajamas the whole day!

Next stop was the corn palace in Mitchell, SD. Every year they decorate the building with thousands of colorful corn husks. It sounds silly, but it is impressive.

This is Zeke. Austin did not like Zeke. I left that picture out.

But Mama liked Zeke!

This lady was hanging out in Wall Drug in Wall, SD. Jim was very glad to find her.

Finally arrived at our beautiful cabin. It was steal because we went in the off season. Heavy winds when we arrived though. More later!
